Summary[edit]
DescriptionThe Chapel of St Mary and St Felix - geograph.org.uk - 1528028.jpg |
English: The Chapel of St Mary and St Felix. The Chapel of St Mary and St Felix was built in the 1880s in order to replace the ruined church of St Felix > 1528057 which is located about 1 kilometre to the south-east of the busy A149. The chapel was constructed from corrugated iron sheets as a 'tin tabernacle' and is the only one of its type that has a thatched roof. Presently the building serves as a chapel for the British Orthodox community. |
