Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Church of Saint Alphege at Seasalter The present 'old church' dates to the 12th Century, and consists of the ancient chapel and sanctuary, the rest having been demolished in the 19th Century. A new church bearing the same name, was constructed in 1844, and stands in Whitstable High Street. This church does, however, remain in use.
