| Description |
English: The Dovecote, Ashby St Mary. The Dovecote at Ashby St Mary, viewed from Hall Road. This Grade II listed 17th century building is situated adjacent to Ashby Hall. See > 1464841 for a closer view.
Unoccupied since 1994 it was in very poor condition when the current owner purchased it in late 1998. Repairs have since been carried out to a high standard including complete refurbishment of the roof lantern with careful attention to detail throughout, without loss of historic character. The building received a (South Norfolk Council) Design Award in 2004. |
