Description
English: The Gatehouse, Lewes Castle, East Sussex This Norman (11th century) gatehouse is inside the later (14th century) Barbican Gatehouse. Again, flint from surrounding chalk lands is a dominant material. The house beyond is from around 1830, Castlegate House.
