| Description |
English: Less than an hour after the Scotsman had passed on the Little North Western 60163 Tornado passed on the adjoining and slightly higher Settle Carlisle line. Hunter Bark, the moorland above the railway, is just over one thousand feet above sea level which is just about the altitude up at Ribblehead. Twelve miles mainly at 1:100 known as the Long Drag achieves the climb for all locos great and small. |
