Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Marsh Harrier Inn This inn was built in the 1990s on the site of an Edwardian Public House, called the King of Prussia. Anti-German sentiments in World War I led to a name change to the King George. The pub had a commanding position facing Harford Bridge: the road into Norwich divided into Ipswich Road and Hall Road at this point, and the pub had a row of Esso petrol pumps to serve the motorist. THe pub had bed and breakfast facilities upstairs. In the 1980s the pub was renamed 'Cactus Jack's' and it rapidly declined in looks and popularity, to be demolished and replaced with the Marsh Harrier.
