English: The Old Fire Station and Lascelles Lane This was the fire station in the 1960s. I remember a civil defence poster in the window showing a hydrogen bomb exploding around 1960 - very frightening. In those days fire engines had bells. This building stands at the junction of Lascelles Lane, Crosby Road and East Road. |
