Summary[edit]
DescriptionThe Paisley Centre - geograph.org.uk - 411185.jpg |
English: The Paisley Centre The frontage gives away its cinematic origins, this building on Paisley's High Street was a popular location for cinemagoers,(NB This was not 'The Glen' which resulted in fatalities when it burned down in the 1930's). For many years it continued to exist as the Mecca Bingo Hall in the town, until it was demolished (and frontage retained) as part of a modern multi-level shopping centre. |
