Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Pastie Supper, Bangor. In the days when Bangor was a seaside resort it was common practice for trippers to eat their chips by the seafront. This sculpture “The Pastie Supper” beside the marina recalls those days. Note: an Ulster pastie is made from mashed potato, coated in batter and deep fried. There is no resemblance to the Cornish variety!
