English: Charles IV of Spain (1748-1819), Prince of Asturias, later King of Spain 1788-1808, in silver-bordered blue velvet coat, wearing the red moiré sash of the Royal Spanish Order of Carlos III, the jewel of the Order of the Golden Fleece and two breast-stars, a tricorn hat under his left arm, powdered hair.
