Summary[edit]

Description
English: The Route of the Cwm Dwyfor Copper Mine Branch Line The mine was situated in the hollow below Mynydd Tal-mignedd and was linked to the tramway by an incline. The mine owned by the eccentric Huddart family of Plas Bryncir SH5243, people who 'poured money into holes and called it mining'. The venture crashed in 1877. The following link provides a humorous account of the doomed quarrying, mining and railway ventures of Cwm Pennant. http://www.whrsoc.org.uk/WHRProject/gorseddau.htm
