| Description |
English: The Settlement. The Settlement was originally a milk bar as Letchworth had no pubs, this being contrary to the town's Quaker traditions. Indeed there were npo pubs here until 1973. The Wilbury Hotel on the edge of the town was the destination of many on a night out. The Settlement is now home to community groups, education and drama. |
