Description
English: The Silk Road, Macclesfield Macclesfield's silk-weaving heritage is referred to in the name of the Silk Road, a four or six-lane road that cuts a brutal swathe through the east side of the town. This gentleman is about to cross at the junction with the Buxton Road, in the shadow of the elevated railway station. In the distance is the spire of St Paul's church SJ9273.
