English: The Sitwell Arms. The Sitwell Arms is by far the oldest of the three public houses in Morton. The building dates back hundreds of years. At one time it was a farmhouse and later a thatched inn called the Royal Oak opened by Francis Sitwell of Renishaw who bought the village in 1749.
The present name reflects the Sitwell's association with the village. Also seen in the photograph is the 377768. To the right (easterly) of the viewpoint is 377757.
