| Description |
English: The Tesco Sucks sign revisited. The sign erected by local farmer Tom Douglas has come a cropper since my previous visit in April 1266665. Over the past few weeks the sign has been missing letters, but they were replaced again, presumably by Mr Douglas. Scottish Borders Council had asked him to remove the sign as it was unauthorised and required planning permission, but it would appear that local youths have taken matters a step further and torched some of the letters. The gorse behind the sign has been blackened in the fire and the remaining letters are covered in graffiti.
