Summary[edit]
DescriptionThe Watch House, Lepe - geograph.org.uk - 284351.jpg |
English: The Watch House, Lepe Looking towards the Watch House on the Lepe foreshore from the top of the steps down to the foreshore path. The sign on the right reminds visitors that this is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and is also privately owned. There is a footpath that leads west along the foreshore to Brick Kiln Creek on the far side of Inchmery Cottage, but when the tide is as high as this it is not sensible to try and walk it. The storm clouds in the distance are headed this way. The hills in the distance on the left are the chalk downs on the western part of the Isle of Wight. |
