At this point a stream enters the canal, and the quantity of water than can enter here is such that there is a warning that there could be a cross current. It would seem that beyond this point the problems caused by the limited water supply at Tring Summit no longer apply. The Leighton Buzzard bypass bridge can be seen in the distance. . |
