Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: In Kayah State, for many years missionaries have spread the catholic faith and provided education to the local people. As a result, many Kayan families converted to the Roman Catholic faith, without losing their traditions. Their language was never written and the only documents with a written testimony of the Kayan language are the Gospels and the church books, that the missionaries translated for the locals.
