Summary[edit]
DescriptionThe old road - geograph.org.uk - 291484.jpg |
English: The old road The photo is taken from the present Diseworth to Long Whatton road as it descends from the E side of the new A42 bridge. The old road is visible on the right of this photo. It is now a farm track. Previously there was a sharp bend on the old road (middle of photo over stable waste) which caused many accidents. The A42 was built in 1990 in a cutting. The new local road now crosses it by bridge. |
