Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: The porch, All Saints Church, Hempstead I took this for the quoins. Flints is not suitable for the corners of a building, so the church has good stone quoins at the corners. However the porch has to make do with a few brick tiles and small blocks of stone. The gable seems to have been rebuilt, perhaps after damage caused by the collapse of the tower in 1702, as the narrow bricks look old. |
