English: The ruined church of St Nicholas - the overgrown churchyard. The church was abandoned sometime during the 17th century. The ruin > 1709962 stands on a slight elevation surrounded by an overgrown churchyard, about one kilometre north-east of the hamlet of Gasthorpe. From the north, following the path that turns off the A1066 road > 1709959 the distance is about 800 metres. |
