Summary[edit]

Description
English: The area of Forum Olitorium ("Vegetable Seller's Market") in ancient Rome, shown in c. 1:250 scale in Gismondi's model at the Museum of Roman Civilization in Rome, Italy. The large theater is the Theater of Marcellus. The three small temples to the left of the open area of the forum were dedicated to Hope (Spes), Piety (Pietas), and Juno Sospita. The river to the left is the Tiber.
