Description
Français : Les thermes gallo-romains de Chassenon à Cassinomagus, commune de Chassenon, Charente, France S-O. Vue du complexe thermal depuis le sud-ouest, donnant sur l'alignement des quatre grandes piscines du côté ouest avec, de gauche à droite (du nord au sud) : caldarium (salle du bain chaud), sudatio (étuve sèche), et deux piscines chaudes. La première piscine chaude en partant du sud, et le caldarium, ont chacun une annexe dépassant l'alignement de cette façade : des schola labri, sortes de "salles d'attente" avec une vasque permettant de se débarrasser de la sueur causée par la chaleur des bains.
Contre le bord droit de la photo, on aperçoit une partie des fondations de la pièce d'angle au sud-ouest du complexe thermal, qui donnait accès au parc entourant le temple de Montélu.
Tout à fait à gauche, un peu en contrebas : extrémité ouest de la galerie marquant le périmètre des thermes sur le côté nord.
