English: The Thomas Law House, also known as the Honeymoon House, located at 1252 6th Street, SW in the Southwest Waterfront neighborhood of Washington, D.C. Designed by William Lovering in 1796, the home is an example of Federal architecture and one of the few buildings in Southwest to survive the 1950s and 1960s demolitions. The home is now part of the Tiber Island development and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. |
