the three chortens that were used by the royal family for worship...

this shot was taken at the rabdentse palace ruins...rabdentse, near pelling was the second capital of sikkim...after yuksam, which used to be the first...

due to various problems primarily involving possible invasions from the nepalis...the capital was shifted once again to tumlong, in north sikkim
