Description Original description: Airships mooring mast / Moscow, Russia.
Correction: No, it's not. The 32-meter-tall tower of the TSAGI was built for experiments with free-falling objects. Most of the tower was just an empty 29-meter-tall shaft. Upper floor housed a wind turbine test platform, and the steel structure on the very top was a platform for testing airscrews [1]. The place was set in dense urban neighborhood with smokestacks, churches, tall trees etc., - landing an airship there would be a suicide.
