Summary[edit]
DescriptionTrachypachus gibbsii LeConte - ZooKeys-245-001-g004.jpeg |
English: Trachypachus gibbsii LeConte. This species is a typical western element as are the other two North American trachypachids. Although superficially similar to some large Bembidion or small Amara and having the same ecological preferences, we now believe that these beetles, along with members of the related genus Systolosoma of South America, are not closely related to any groups of carabids. |
