| Description |
English: Track junction, Great Ridge near Chicklade Here a track leaves the permissive byway that crosses the eastern end of Great Ridge from north to south, and enters Fonthill Bushes wood. The track seems to provide access to Great Ridge for the owners of the woods, the Fonthill Estate. There is no right of way along the track which after 2/3km crosses under the dual carriageway of the A303 to go down to Chicklade Bottom. Fonthill gives its name to several villages to the south of Great Ridge. |
