Summary[edit]
DescriptionTrain arriving at North Woolwich (geograph 3302780).jpg |
English: Train arriving at North Woolwich A suburban diesel multiple unit arriving at North Woolwich station in 1985, shortly before the line was electrified. The North Woolwich branch closed in 2006. Part of the route has been reused by the Docklands Light Railway, between Canning Town and Stratford. Another section of the route, a tunnel beneath the Royal Docks, is being reused by Crossrail which will be a new east-west rail route across London. At North Woolwich, however, the route will not be reused by railway trains. |
