Summary
[edit]DescriptionTrain at Connolly Station - (12) (geograph 3252043).jpg |
English: Train at Connolly Station - (12) As the line from Newcomen Junction (on the Midland Great Western line from Liffey Junction to North Wall) was very steep, it was unusual to see a train approaching Connolly from that direction. IÉ liveried 001 class No. 025 brings a maintenance of way train into the station. Delivered to CIÉ in March 1956, 025 was re-engined in July 1970, withdrawn in March 1995 and scrapped in June 1995. |
