Català: El flux magnètic es produït pel bobinatge primari i, contingut pel nucli d'alta permeabilitat, enllaça el bobinatge secundari. La inductància mútua entre els dos debanaments dona lloc a una tensió induïda en el secundari, la magnitud del qual ve determinada per la relació de voltes entre els dos debanaments.
