Description
English: Via Mala is a historical and recent transit route through the swiss alps. Today, the road dating from 1821 or 1967 can be used for the whole length. The road from 1821 now cloded for motor traffic can be seen in the foreground, Thusis in the background.
Deutsch: Die Viamala ist eine historische und aktuelle Transitroute durch die Schweizer Alpen. Seit römischen Zeiten ist ein Weg bekannt, die heute sichtbaren Strassen stammen von 1821, 1967 und im Nordteil 1996. Eine Brücke von 1739 (Wildener-Brücke) steht immer noch an einer der engsten Stellen der Schlucht. Die auf dem Bild sichtbare Strasse von 1821 ist im nördlichen Teil dem Langsamverkehr vorbehalten.
