| Description |
English: Trees with windswept snow on Mawney Road #5 Driving along Mawney Road from Collier Row towards Romford gave us this amazing view - clearly the wind has been blowing in the right direction and has managed to sweep the snow onto the trunks and branches of the trees that line the road, creating this classic winter scene! Just one last shot before the trees end and we come to the junction with the A12. Just as a matter of interest, the wind must have been blowing in a different direction on the other half of Mawney Road (on the other side of the A12) as the trees there weren't covered in snow at all. Oh well, at least this half of the road put on a good display! View taken looking east-southeast towards the A12 (marked out by the different lamp standards in the background) and Romford beyond. |
