Description
English: Trestle Bridge of Death Valley Railroad. On top of the bridge is the "emergency car" of the Death Valley Rail Road (DVRR), which was a 1912 Cadillac converted to run on narrow gauge rails with 3ft (914mm) gauge. In the car are Major Boyd, Mrs Gower and Pauline Gower. Photograph by Death Valley National Park courtesy of Rio Tinto Minerals (U.S. Borax Collection).
