Summary[edit]

Description Underside of a Soviet Tu-95 “Bear F” with an open weapons bay over the Pacific in 1987. The aircraft had been intercepted by U.S. Navy McDonnell Douglas F/A-18A Hornet aircraft from strike fighter squadron VFA-151 Vigilantes, Carrier Air Wing 5 (CVW-5), from the aircraft carrier USS Midway (CV-41).
