Summary[edit]

Description
English: Tumby Woodside
One of the stations Beeching axed, made famous in Flanders & Swann's "The Slow Train". The station house can be seen on the right. Dense brush covers the trackbed, but the line of the platform's edge can just be made out to the left of the base of the conifer, as can a stretch of typical railway fencing centre right. Looking northwest from the Mareham le Fen road; the old signal box would have stood front left of frame. See http://www.leytransport.i12.com/elrnl.htm
