Description
Deutsch: Der Tinzlturm (auch Turm an der Tinzlleiten oder Dinzlleiten genannt) ist eine heute schwer zugängliche Ruine bei St. Jakob in der Gemeinde Leifers in Südtirol. Geschichte und früherer Name des Gemäuers sind unbekannt, es scheint sich jedoch um einen Turm gehandelt zu haben, der einst die Kreuzung der alten Straße von Leifers nach Bozen mit dem inzwischen verwachsenen Steig zum hoch über dem Etschtal gelegenen Weiler Seit bewachte. Die Überreste des mittelalterlichen Gemäuers stehen heute unter Denkmalschutz. Dieses Bild zeigt einen Blick auf die nordseitige Mauer des Turms.
