Description

Teitl Cymraeg/Welsh title: Dau ddaguerreoteip (ii) Ffotograffydd/Photographer: Cone, Artist. Nodyn/Note: This daguerreotype is from a pair, which are presented back to back. Originally the presentation would have created the look of a small velvet covered book, though the front cover is now lost. The other daguerreotype, fmc00291 (pz8238/3), is a hand coloured portait of a young man. Both are displayed behind ornate gold mounts.
