Deutsch: Ab Herbst 1943 wurde durch die Organisation Todt mit der Auffahrung der Großstollenanlage „Saphir“ begonnen. Geplant war dir unterirdische Produktion von Flugmotoren durch die Kasseler Firma Henschel bzw. deren Tochterfirma Henschel Flugmotorenbau GmbH Altenbeuna. Unter Anleitung bergmännischer Fachkräfte der Bergwerksgesellschaft Hibernia trieben osteuropäische Zwangsarbeiter die Stollen in den Hardtkopf bei Elbenberg. |
