Description
English: Soldiers from the Fort Wainwright, Alaska-based 4th Squadron, 14th U.S. Cavalry Regiment dig up and sort out various munitions from a hidden weapons cache in Al Quratiyah, Iraq, Feb. 20, 2006. More than 3,000 pieces of munitions, ranging from anti-tank and anti-personnel mines to mortars, were discovered during a reconnaissance patrol here. The cache is among the largest discovered to date in western Al Anbar Province. Al Quratiyah is located just outside the town of Rawah, about 350 km northwest of Baghdad.
