English: Heavy concrete barriers connected by wire with enough tensile strength to halt the momentum of aircraft landing aboard large naval vessels protect the Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow Headquarters Building following recent force protection improvements implemented by Mission Assurance Division. The barriers are designed to prevent vehicle-borne Improvised Explosive Devices attacks to structures aboard the installation.
