English: The U.S. Navy light cruiser USS Galveston (CL-93) is tugged from the William Cramp & Sons Shipbuilding Company, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA), to the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, on 24 May 1946. The cruiser's construction was suspended when nearly complete on 24 June 1946, and the hull assigned to the Philadelphia Group of the Atlantic Reserve Fleet. |
