Description BLACK SEA (Oct. 29, 2019) — The Turkish Barbaros-class frigate TCG Salihreis (F 246) sits at full dress in Istanbul, Turkey, as the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Porter (DDG 78) transits from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, Oct. 29, 2019. Porter, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its seventh patrol in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
