Summary[edit]

Description 10 image stitched vertical panoramic showcasing the entire span of the Milky way galaxy from constellations Cassiopeia to Sagittarius including the Andromeda Galaxy. I shot this image early friday morning at Don Pedro Lake in Moccasin, Ca. in Tuolumne County along the Sierra Nevada Foothills. There is a bit of Airglow present in this image around the Aquila and Scutum region of the milky way. We see the night sky as a dark colorless abyss with our naked eye, however, the night sky is full of brilliant color. This image displays the true colors of the night sky. the light along the horizon is light pollution from nearby cities Sonora & Jamestown(north by northeast) and Modesto & La Grange (south by southwest) #milkyway #nightsky
