Deutsch: Heute ein eher ungewöhnliches Objekt, war solch eine Schere vor gut 200 Jahren in fast jedem Haushalt zu finden. Um 1800 wurden Storchenscheren als medizinisches Instrument von Hebammen während der Geburt verwendet. Mit ihr klemmten sie die Nabelschnur ab, um den Blutkreislauf zwischen Mutter und Kind zu unterbrechen. Die kleine Punzierung (Prägung) „JFR“ verrät den Namen des Berliner Juweliers Johann Friedrich Rosenberg, der die hier vorgestellte Klemme angefertigt hat. 1887 wurde das Objekt vom Märkischen Provinzialmuseum aus dem Besitz einer Hebamme für die Sammlung erworben. |
