Summary[edit]

Description Trolleybus No. 1 of the Montreux/Vevey trolleybus system (VMCV) was a 1957 Berna. It is pictured northbound on Grand Rue, in Montreux (which is generally westbound on the trolleybus line), at the stop nearest the railway station, en route to Vevey. Trolleybus 1 was retired around early 1995, and the last vehicles of its type were retired around the end of 1995. The route number was also 1 at this time, shown by the numeral above the windshield, but was changed to "201" in 2010.
