English: SAN DIEGO (Sept. 21, 2021) A CMV-22B Osprey assigned to Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron (VRM) 50 prepares to launch on its inaugural flight September 21, 2021 from Naval Air Station North Island. VRM-50 is the Navy’s first Osprey Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) whose mission is to provide Pacific and Atlantic VRM squadrons the ability to sustain lethality for carrier strike groups of the future through timely, persistent air logistics missions and by developing and delivering highly-trained pilots and aircrew to the fleet.
