Description
Nederlands: Het klooster van Vaison-la-Romaine - Vaucluse, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Dit klooster vormt één complex met de kathedraal van de stad (XIde eeuw). Van het klooster resten slechts de vier galerijen rond de kloostertuin : drie (XIIde en XIIIde eeuw en hersteld in de XVIIde eeuw) en één - deze van de zuidoost-kant - herbouwd in de XIXde eeuw terwijl de drie andere toen ook grondig gerestaureerd werden.
De oorsprong van dit klooster gaat terug tot de Xde eeuw, maar was aan herbouwing toe in de tweede helft van de XIIde eeuw na de bevolen plundering van de stad door de graaf van Toulouse.

Du cloître, accolé à la cathédrale (XIe siècle), ne restent que les quatre galeries entourant le jardin : trois du XIIe et XIIIe siècles et une - celle du sud-est - ayant été reconstituée au XIXe siècle, tandis qu'en même temps les trois autres ont été entièrement restaurés.
Les origines du cloître remontent au Xe siècle, mais dans la seconde moitié du XIIe siècle il fut rèparé après le pillage de la ville, ordonné par le comte de Toulouse.
