Summary[edit]

Description
English: The old cinema in Vardø, Finnmark, North Norway. It was built in 1911 and named 'Bio-Theateret'. It is one of the very few cinemas in Norway with its original interior intact.

Since the last film was run in the 1980's the building has been used as a storage room. However, in 2012 the cinema was cleaned up, and it will probably be used for cultural purposes in the future.

The hope is that the exterior of the cinema will be restored also.
