Čeština: Štábní kapitán Miloslav Šára starší (* 20. září 1901 Praha - † 20. října 1944 Praha) nebyl v žádném blízkém příbuzenském vztahu s brigádním generálem Václavem Šárou(1893–1941), jedné z ústředních postav odbojové organizace Obrana národa (ON), která působila na území Protektorátu Čechy a Morava. (Generál Václav Šára byl popraven v průběhu prvního stanného práva dne 1. října 1941.) Miloslav Šára starší (1901–1944) byl za protektorátu vedoucí odbojové organizace KOS (Kázeň-Odvaha-Síla). Byl zatčen gestapem (spolu se svým synem Miroslavem Šárou mladším) dne 27. března 1944; odsouzen k smrti pro politický delikt a popraven v pátek 20. října 1944 v 16:00 v pankrácké sekyrárně v Praze pod pořadovým číslem 723. English: Staff Captain Miloslav Šára Senior (* 20 September 1901 Prague - † 20 October 1944 Prague) was not closely related to Brigadier General Václav Šára (1893-1941), one of the central figures of the resistance organisation Defence of the Nation (ON), which operated in the territory of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. Miloslav Šára Senior (1901-1944) was the head of the resistance organization KOS (Discipline-Courage-Force) during the Protectorate. He was arrested by the Gestapo (together with his son Miroslav Šára Junior) on 27 March 1944; sentenced to death for political offence and executed on Friday 20 October 1944 at 16:00 in the Pankrác Ax Factory in Prague under serial number 723. (His son Miloslav Šára Junior survived the subsequent imprisonment; he lived to see the end of the Second World War.) Arrest photo from Pankrac prison in Prague, about half in 1944.
